I’m a career strategist and advisor, former executive, educator, mentor, and parent. My work is grounded in a simple idea: people make better career decisions when they understand both where they fit today and where opportunity is heading next.

That belief is personal. Early in my own career, I experienced what it feels like to land in a role that looked good on paper but was fundamentally the wrong fit. Finding a better direction took experimentation, pivots, and more time than it should have. That experience still shapes how I work with clients today.

 

Over the course of my career, I’ve explored the world of work from multiple sides — as an educator and technology writer, human capital management consultant, global product leader for a pioneering online jobs platform, and executive with venture-backed companies spanning e-learning, career management, and higher education. More recently, as Technology Vertical Chief at Academic Partnerships, I helped universities develop programs for fast-emerging fields such as cybersecurity, data science, and healthcare informatics — work that required anticipating new skills, new roles, and where opportunity was moving.

 

That combination of lived experience, practical knowledge of how hiring works, and a forward-looking view of the jobs economy is the foundation of IQ Catalyst.

Since founding IQ Catalyst in 2024, I’ve partnered with more than 75 clients and their families — from college students and recent graduates to early-career professionals and experienced leaders reinventing what comes next. I hold an MBA from Babson College, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master’s in Learning Technologies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in History and Foreign Languages from Dartmouth College.​​​​​​​​
