I’m a career strategist and advisor, a former executive—as well as a parent, educator, and mentor.

At the core of my work is a Concierge Career Advisory Service. I work 1:1 with clients, using a proprietary methodology (Career Boost™), to help them develop a forward-looking vision for their careers—and then turn that vision into a concrete plan they can pursue with commitment, energy, and foresight.

 

Since founding IQ Catalyst in 2024, I’ve partnered with more than 75 clients and their families, from current college students and recent graduates to early-career professionals and late-career reinventers. Recent clients have landed exciting early-career positions, earned promotions, and launched new career chapters with organizations including Crocs, DeleteMe, Fanatics, General Dynamics/Electric Boat, Parker Hannifin, Salesforce, Trilon Energy Group, and William Morris Endeavor.

I come to this work as a fellow traveler—someone who has had to find internships and first jobs, navigate career pivots, account for what lies ahead -  multiple times, over a 40-year span.

I’ve spent my career exploring the world of work from nearly every angle. My own first-person journey has included 17 roles, 16 companies, and 13 industries, with experiences ranging from educator and technology writer for an educational software magazine to human capital management consultant, global product leader for a pioneering online jobs platform, and executive roles with venture-backed companies in e-learning, career management, and higher education.

I hold an MBA from Babson College, a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master’s in Learning Technologies from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a BA in History and Foreign Languages from Dartmouth College.
