IQ Catalyst Founder Mark Sargent’s commitment to career success stems from experience — some painful, some inspiring, and much of it foundational to the work we do today.
He learned early what poor fit feels like, starting his career in a highly sought-after Wall Street role that proved completely misaligned with his skills, interests, mindset, and motivation. He later found more fulfilling work in education, technology, online learning, and the global jobs economy — including leadership roles with a global career management platform, a digital skills development company, and an industry-leading strategy firm advising higher education institutions.
